Did you ever wonder about DNA, and how that reference is thrown around a lot in solving crimes, tracking diseases, predicting human health, and exploring genetics… but hardly ever discussed in metaphysical terms except within a small niche group of spiritual teachers?
I did wonder about Metaphysical DNA, but I wasn't sure what I could determine what was hype and what was truth; so I spent time researching some of what is believed among kindred spirits like us... we metaphysical seekers who question the mysteries and seek spiritual awareness. From my hours of digging I was able to arrive at a simple explanation. This comes at a time when I feel a need to expand my horizons beyond water and support other realms of thought about expansion through sacred Color, Chakras, Quantum Superpowers, and Spiritual Intention.
It turns out, much of those other topics use the same factors in behavior modification, conscious creation, and divine providence as what is indicated for modifying metaphysical DNA. And it also turns out, I found a logical purpose to veering off course from water wisdom to these other areas of intentional thought. So let me say... Metaphysical DNA is a real thing as much as the consciousness of water. As much as the Chakras. As much as any spiritual belief system. Are those things real to you? They are to me, so I will move into the discussion from that starting point.
Scientists will never accept my explanation, so don’t even try to convince them of anything I share with you. They study the chemical and biochemical constituents in the cells and how they influence our DNA. But they cannot explain why we look a certain way, speak a particular dialect, or are attracted to certain lifestyle choices. Here is a big clue... it is more than what you learned as an infant. It has to do with your cells' abilities to function because those items have been programmed into the structure of your cells. Do you resemble your ancestors? I am sure you do because you were built using the same genetic codes. Your DNA was influenced by your ancestors and their bloodlines that contributed to your cell formation. This doesn't sound very metaphysical until you consider something that I ponder often. The energy that influences our DNA is not just physical. It is cosmic and has to do with choices made by your soul before you slipped into your current lifetime.
Here is an example. I have studied 3 languages besides my native English, and I can't seem to communicate using German, French,or Spanish. My studies included years of learning, but it just "didn't take." I suspect it is not because of a faulty brain, but the possibility that my DNA was already determined for me, for this lifetime and it did not include my ability to assume any of the traits and knowledge factors as native Germans, French, or Latinos. However, sometimes, while I try to speak a language (I supposedly learned), I get hints of a life I might have experienced in a different body, in a different culture among others who spoke those languages fluently. If I can zone in close on the memories, I find myself speaking with perfect clarity using correct accents and dialects – but only for a few moments. Then it goes away. Could I ever alter my DNA to help me with my languages? Probably... meaning anything is possible. But the real answer is, YES... but for now, it's a dream I might never achieve. And my DNA or soul mission is dead set against me adopting multiple languages. Here is what I think. I am a metaphysician, a seeker of mysteries, a spiritual connoisseur, and it is important for me to communicate my theories to others of my culture. I speak a cosmic dialect. That is all I need in this body, in this life, in this reality.
But here another aspect... if you eat a certain ethnic food, or follow ceremonial or ritual practices or religions, your DNA is influenced. And it, in turn, influences your cellular generation. So, I asked... what came first? Did our DNA patterns exist when we were spirits living without a body in another dimension? What made our cells carry the master plan of our existence?
You can see… it gets deep. Metaphysically deep. But that's not what I want to talk about. I want to talk Metaphysics as we practice our personal growth, spiritual expansion, and transformation. because everyone knows, if you want to change the world, we have to change ourselves first.
Here is the ONE most simple truth about metaphysical DNA… every thought we have carries its own energy field. Just stop and think about that! Think of ripples in a pond. Think of expanding realities emanating from a single thought. Well you can see how powerful a thought is. It amplifies its power infinitely.
Each cell or each atom has an electrical charge. All the collective charges create a universe... a thought universe. Within that thought universe, is an electromagnetic field of possibilities. (A field of dreams?) As that unique universe forms a power source, it also becomes the manifestation source for whatever possibilities are brought forth by our thoughts, (remember they are things). This is Metaphysical DNA!!!
When we think, or say, or believe anything, the matching energy cells in our universe are magnetically drawn to each other and they connect. When enough matching energies form a strong connection they take over as the “God Source” of that universe and then that universe duplicates and creates a matching universe. Infinite universes take over and the resulting power allows the body, mind, and spirit to give birth to the object of your thoughts. What if your thoughts are negative? Yes, that, too, is born and lives within your universes. All this single-cell regeneration becomes the first cause of manifestation or matter. It also becomes the first cause of destruction.
Does this sound like the Law of Attraction? In many ways, yes, it does. Does it sound like the theory of Quantum Superpowers? And does it sound like the discussions about Radiant Color Chakra Creation? Yes, to all. We are fueling every possibility I have spoken about for the last 6 months with the initiation of a single cell of Metaplysical DNA. And it begins with a single cell of belief. BELIEF! Good grief! Are we getting this infinitesimal increment of pure power? A thought here, a belief there, and soon, we have created ourselves as a mirror image to what our minds conjured up.
We've definitely heard this a thousand times, right? Do you want more money? More love? More opportunities? Well, yes, of course we do! We can work with the radiant color of our Chakras. (That is pure power). We can raise our Quantum Superpowers by following a mind-process. (Pure power). We can bless our water (the pure power of intention). We can practice prayer and ritual (the pure power of ceremony and repetition). All of this affects our DNA. Every single one of them! No chemistry is involved. No genetics. Just pure creation energy. You get to choose which type of creation will get your devotion or attention. But they all work! Except when they don't because they are not supposed to. (remember my problem with languages?) You came into your body and you already had DNA instructions in place when you arrived in the womb. Those initial codes will likely not be changed by thought. But so many other things can be changed.
Your DNA defines you as a Creator God. But, again, what came first? Your DNA, or your intentions? We do know that your creation awaits your instructions so DNA can commit to the creation of cells that will definitely affect your choices. When you are clear about what you wish to create, your DNA can begin making cells that will support your thoughts. Your thoughts will begin making cells that will change your DNA. They work together. Always together.
So, in light of this mind tripping DNA discussion today, I have to ask, point blank….knowing we hold the greatest key to creation on Earth, and possibly in the entire Cosmos…
What on earth are you thinking?
If it isn’t constructive, positive, and life-affirming, for Pete’s sake, stop those thoughts right now! We are creating our world one thought at a time. What we think becomes our reality and it affects the reality of all beings (because we are ONE). Do we want peace for others. Create it in ourselves first.
Let’s stop criticizing others who think differently than we do spiritually, politically, socially, intellectually, etc. They are on another path and their DNA is reflecting their thoughts. Our path will rise and take us to much higher pursuits if we use our mind to create our ideal life for ourselves and ultimately for everyone. Remember, what you think about another, you create within yourself. Think about that. Our universe begins within. The shared universe begins within the minds of all beings. If we are negatively impacted by the thought streams of darker paths, it is our job to spread our light so others can benefit from our contribution to love. It works in small ways as you know. A tiny candle flame illuminates the darkest cave. A small crack lets the light in. We are the Lightworkers who can shift universal DNA… at the very least, we can shift our own. And we all know, in order to change anything, we have to change our thoughts.
All we can know (or believe with our whole hearts) in this place of truth, in our own private universe, we can affect EVERYTHING backwards, forwards, and everything in-between. We do hold the master switch in our minds. And we ARE because we think.
Not only can we see our future and heal our past, but we can create something new. It is all done with our thoughts. When we go within, anything is possible. Our insights change our DNA. Our intentions change our DNA. Our WORDS CHANGE OUR DNA. When our DNA shifts, our bodies respond and cells line up to make new connections. Do we speak a dialect of love? It changes the directions our cells get from our DNA. Do we speak of hatred or resentment? Yep… you got it… our cells reflect that negativity and keep their evolution in the dark.
And here is the most profound aspect of metaphysical DNA… there are worlds that are waiting to be birthed within ourselves, and within the consciousness we all share. Sometimes in order to make a change, the DNA needs to be broken as I mentioned earlier. Then it repairs itself to include the new reality. This reminds me of an ancient wisdom saying, "The universe re-arranges itself to reflect our picture of reality." Now this can go to whatever we focus on. Our DNA is created by thought — thought from our ancestors, and thoughts in our current lifetime. Any thought can change reality.
We are out of the box thinkers because we are meta-folk… reaching beyond what is known. In other words, we are exploring possibilities, and reaching into subtle realms of information. We are adventurers when we decide to consider a different religious belief system than the one our parents indoctrinated in us. Yes, we are pioneers. When we mix belief systems because Buddhism and Wiccan together might make more sense to us, or when Animism and Santeria inspires us… we are demonstrating just how “bad-ass” we are in terms of what we can create. Our thoughts enable us to cross vast divides and boundaries. We are meta-people exploring a meta-world beyond physical proof. That is pure bravery. When we do that, our DNA is affected.
DNA has its own language.
Every cell in our body hears everything we hear, speak or think and then they create from our inner dialogue. Nothing is overlooked by our DNA. Even if we are joking, or speaking in a casual way, the energy of our words and thoughts is taken to heart and becomes the first cause of manifestation. What if we listen to others speak to us and they speak negatively? That goes directly to our cells and DNA creates from that “truth” is another thought does not cancel it out. The senses are regulators of our DNA… hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil, feel no evil, act no evil. There is a reason why these old sayings came about. Wisdom speaks most truthfully but not always of its origin.
But, look, you know all this… or you have heard it said so many times. I have said it many times too!!! Why do we forget this profound detail?
Your DNA believes you and obeys your every word and whim. DNA responds as if
everything is true. To our DNA everything and anything is possible. Often, we inadvertently stand in our own way because we are physical thinkers, fearful thinkers, illogical thinkers, earth-bound limited thinkers — not always metaphysical thinkers. Buy, hey, please remember, we have all this vast pool of potential beyond the apparent limits, and we are entitled to swim in that miracle, magical pool to our heart’s delight. In fact, it is our creation pool and the greatest gift we have ever been given while we continue to live in a physical world and a limited mind. Let’s change it. Now.
We all have the ability to travel to the past or the future and all dimensions in between. We can use our superpowers to heal and grow. We can learn from colors by becoming them. We can become gifted healers, teachers, and visionaries all because of our DNA. We can also shut it all down because of our DNA. It all depends on our inner dialog.
When we are engaged in a high level of DNA communication, we may use light waves to open a greater understanding of our place in the universe. Our place can be in the past, or the future, or any dimension, but when we seek within, anything is possible. And one parting thought… think in terms of energy. Tesla said it. The future is about energy. The present is about energy. The world is completely created from energy. What energy receptors live in your body? YOUR CHAKRAS… it is a circular reality. Rethink your Chakras… and create from pure sparks of energy there.
(continued from email)
In chemistry and physics, quantum refers to a single quantity of matter or energy. In practical use, it refers to the minimum amount of energy required for a change; or the minimum value of any physical property to change an interaction. In metaphysics, Quantum is the amount of energy it takes to make a change in belief or other cellular influences. It is technical, and then... it's not. Let's go deeper into this…
I recently attended a workshop where I learned 5 important Quantum Superpowers we all possess. The unusual thing is that humans think these Quantum energies are unattainable in our normal lives because they seem to represent extraordinary feats of mind control or psychological programming. Because of that technical connotation, spiritually-conscious seekers often overlook the wisdom in initiating quantum changes because of the "too-technical" explanations.
But what if it was so easy to make changes that you could do it all the time, any time?
Here is something to consider... if you have waved off the scientific explanations of extraordinary powers, maybe it is time to revisit the ideas. I think we all would love to have a collection of superpowers we can rely on for the times when we need a big boost. We all pray, meditate, and use our psychic senses to open new paths; and we all do our sensory practices because we believe they help our consciousness to remain open and aware; but when I needed a bigger boost, I look for deeper wisdom. I look to Water. And this very powerful pairing was mentioned in the workshop. That’s when I perked up!
Aha! Water and the Cosmos… a perfect pairing of generators that will open a doorway into the realm of our super consciousness. At that point in the presentation I began to understand the physical reality of how our “believing mind” entangles our thoughts and won’t easily let go. In physics, this is a real thing. Atoms and molecules become entangled to each other because of a strange attraction that won’t let go… ever… no really, never, unless something else takes its place. This means, the original cause of entanglement influences everything until it no longer has power. When would that be? Let's refer to the brilliant Buckminster Fuller's great insight...
Indeed!!! In spirituality this concept means, if we believe something is hard or even impossible, that is what our Quantum Reality will continue to produce for us because we have entangled that concept and the mind holds it in place. Give it new solutions, better solutions, and your world changes. This is exactly what spiritual scientist Dr. Masaru Emoto demonstrated so often with the consciousness of water. Example: If we reinforce our hatred toward our drinking water, those molecules become deformed and dysfunctional and are stuck together forever. But if we introduce deep love for our drinking water, (a new insight or affirmation) its molecules instantly become crystalline works of art that have greater power than the dysfunctional entanglement. What would we rather drink? What would we rather think? Beauty, of course! But more than beauty, health, joy, or peace, we want love. Ahhhh... yes LOVE! We would rather be drinking love and knocking out the old entangled beliefs.
The mind method mentioned in the workshop related to Quantum Theory is called the “Blue Mind Theory,” and it is a very powerful concept in its own right. Here is how it works...
Our Blue Mind is our Teacher, Healer, and Wisdom Guide.
If we realize our current reality is something we wish to change, we connect with water. I mean, we alter our method of contemplation to include water. So, we think about water, we surround ourselves with pictures of water, we go to a place where we can be with natural water, OR, we bring blue things to our altar to symbolize water. It is at that point when the disentanglement work begins.
Opening up our Blue Mind, we form new associations that become entangled and form a new positive reality to surpass the old one. Now, listen up, dear friends... this stuff is real and has been proven by scientists who can attest that when we engage with water, see blue, or explore the emotions associated with being in or near water, we actually open a space in our brain for new ideas and functions to grow. (The Bucky Fuller theory). Imagine that! So simple. So elegant. And this equates to new space for new entanglements to form.
Now we begin to see how most of us are caught in an entanglement of disbelief. And now, we can begin to activate our Big Five Powers… our Quantum Superpowers. We can activate them and use them daily. We really, really can!! Without getting all scientific again, I will adhere to the “Blue Mind Theory” in each of these descriptions of the powers and show you how to “work them” so you can enjoy a big shift, right now! This is guided imagery, and it is extremely powerful. Let’s go!
You want the power to expand time.
We all want to do more in less time than ever before without adding stress to our lives. Okay, so let's begin with a better thought stream…
“Water flows slowly down a lazy stream. It never stops, and it never rushes. It meanders into slow pools, and then moves ahead exploring every bank and surface with curiosity and adoration. Without any sense of time or space, you hear the soft burbles and tickling splashes creating a gentle pitter-patter beat in your mind. Then you realize…You are the water. You feel the sensation of floating with ease and grace as you willingly explore mossy rocks and tree roots. Your float includes twigs, leaves, pebbles, and fish in the gentle current while floating along the course. You are not burdened by presence. In fact, you are grateful for the company and there is no identifiable measure of time to disturb your peace. You feel a sense of gratitude for being in this space. You can breathe deeply into the realm of no-time whenever you desire.”
There…that is your daily Quantum practice! In doing it, you just changed a portion of your field of consciousness. If you repeat this, you will be dis-entangling a lot of old programming that keeps us limited. This simple practice is your opening to the Blue Mind. From this point on, expanded time has become entangled with your brain functions and it allows you to feel energized and capable no matter what you wish to accomplish.
Use this imagery anytime you feel anxiety about time. It works every time… but you have to do your part. Dr. Emoto knew this and opened the minds of millions all over the planet by suggesting we use simple words to prompt us into our Blue Mind consciousness, only he didn’t call it that. He called it “intention.” Many thought it was too hard to sustain intention. Many thought it was pseudo-science. Many forgot. Many found the practice boring because the human mind wants to flitter from one great thing to another. But this, I can tell you, is true. If you engage your Blue Mind with water every day, just for a few minutes, earnestly and consistently, you will automatically be living in a new reality of extended time. A new entanglement will be born.

You want the power to experience sustained energy so you can always generate what you need to accomplish your goals. You want to operate at your highest energy level throughout even the longest, most challenging days. Let’s go back to the Blue Mind Theory and add a new entanglement to your beliefs...
Do this simple thought journey when you need more energy. Do it every day if you need it. Your Blue Mind is expanding your superpowers. Wow!

You wish to partner with the Universe to accomplish your goals and fulfill your dreams. You can use the resources of the universe to your greatest advantage. You guessed it, we are going to engage the Blue Mind again and this time, we are breaking down barriers, not building new entanglements. Once the barriers are released you are free to access infinite consciousness as you desire. Water holds the greatest power for moving heavy objects or wearing down thought barriers. Use it to your advantage...
“You are floating in a lake high above a valley. You are comfortable and safe, but you cannot go anywhere else because the water that floats you is contained by a dam built by natural mud and rocks. The water in the lake has very little power in this enclosure and only moves because of the wind. You long to be free, but you are caught in a motionless existence. While the lake supports your existence, it doesn’t support your need for expansion. You know you are meant to grow, move, change, learn, transform, and live in infinite co-creation with the universe outside the barrier. Summoning the help of the wind, together you push the water against the barrier by making a wave. Again and again, the power of your thoughts and the wind waves dissolve the mud holding the rocks in place; and soon, water is seeping out of the rocks into a trickle and then a vigorous stream beyond. Pushing again and again, rocks begin to wear away and the barrier that once kept you contained now collapses sending a beautiful gush of water downstream where it has no limits and everything is yours for the receiving. Just ask. In this mighty flow, everything is known, shown, and grown. You are Water and you are the infinite Universe. You are only stopped when your existence is dammed… we are only stopped by damming our minds.”
This guided imagery relies on your ability to sustain energy, as explained in Superpower #2 along with the persistence to reach for new freedom. Use them together. And remember, once the dam has been breached, everything is available to you whenever you want or need it. An additional way to use this superpower is to BELIEVE there are no limits. The only limit is your entangled mis-perception or belief. Break that up right now!

You long to express your creativity but find you have too many responsibilities to take time out for your visions and dreams. You have advanced to this power because you have already learned how to extend time, felt your unlimited energy, broken down barriers; and now you will create your creative sanctuary. We call upon the wisdom of the Blue Mind... and the powerful wisdom of using rhyme…
“If you were a river where would you flow, where would you go? What would you see along the way? Where would you stay? As you float along, fast or slow, what is there for you to know? An idea here, a vision there, a new creation everywhere. Look to your Third Eye, that Chakra is Blue. It will show you everything that is new. Choose what delights you and make it alive. It requires no effort to be one with the jive. Give thanks for your infinite flowing river, but remember, the Cosmos is the ultimate giver. How to express, you eagerly ask, with plenty of time to take care of the task? You are the river and you will easily flow through all parts of life your soul’s here to know. Sharing your gifts and your ultimate dreams, believing it’s true is easier than it seems. Just open your mind to the ease of the flow and all expressions are yours to show.”
So much beauty everywhere you look and so many opportunities to express the beauty in your heart. These are gifts from the vast reaches of the universe to remind you of your artist's nature. You are a creator and you are the creation. Don't stop your flow, but include whatever you need to do as part of the ultimate creation, and do your hard tasks with rhythm, grace, and creativity. This suspends time and you become the greatest definition of Super Human.

You want to attract money, people and resources to make your life a work of art, but sometimes those things are beyond reach. They needn't be. It is time to evolve our ideas about attraction. We are thinking about water. Just consider a single tiny drops of mist. From there, a sea change can happen in your reality...
“The rain comes down in tiny drops. As they form on a hard surface, they rest momentarily and then move toward another drop. There is an imperative attraction for the two to become one, with double the power each had before. Think of this action as magnetic. The power in water attracts! As more drops gently form, they find each other and bond. The tiny drops are growing together. First a tiny puddle, and then a larger one. The larger puddle grows in size and becomes a pond, a lake, a reservoir, a force. As each tiny drop is added to the vast collective, the power of water attracts more and more drops to make its power even greater. As you feel the sensation of magnetism, connection, collaboration, cooperation, you feel the birth of a new reality, and you realize you are all the water drops and you are the force. You are an attractor of all … and a container for the power you want. And best of all, nothing can stop this force from becoming larger in your life because your attraction is too great.”
Use this imagery when you need money, resources, or opportunities. Think of the tiny drops becoming big enough to serve your needs. Let the power of water attract it all to you. I do mean ALL! Bring on a new quantum entanglement now! Today is the day. Reach out, reach deep. Just break the old entanglements and fly free.

I pondered this recently when I visited the local surfing break. I go there often when I want to have a strong conversation with the Mother of Water, the mighty ocean. The beach (or any place where there is moving water) is a powerful place to meditate, pray, and think. We can easily gain clarity when we are near water. I was genuinely puzzled that day, and I breathed deeply so I could take in the powerful pranic breath of the sea. Water is my greatest healer and teacher; so I asked how I might include Angels or the Angelic path in my spiritual work when I wasn't sure I was a believer myself.
It takes courage to believe in something so much you don't ask for proof... and
it takes courage to disbelieve something to the point where
you are left dangling alone on your own convictions.
I didn't hear an answer because I got distracted watching a young teen girl trying to surf in some very rough water. She was caught in a rip tide and could not get to shore no matter how hard she tried, often being held beneath the surface for an agonizing length of time. I silently prayed to Mother Water asking that she take care of the young woman.
As I stood in the mist of the pounding surf, my mind kept coming back to the subject of Angels. Soon, I found myself "seeing" Angel wings in the ocean waves, and wing shapes in the sand with shells and rocks. I realized I was feeling something important about Angels, but I did not know what to ask or how to be with those realizations. I stayed wide open, and let my mind chase meaning.
An Angelic Visitation
When I was 12 years old, I experienced something that scared me out of my wits. As I froze in fear, something (someone?) comforted me and took me out of harm's way. I want to say it was just my imagination, but honestly, I am not sure. I never knew anything about Angels then, and I still don't know much about Angels now. But there was that unexplained vaporous white arm that reached around my shoulders; and that soft gentle voice in my mind that assured me I was going to be okay. There was the gentle nudge that moved me quickly to another place; and when it was over, there was a gap in my memory for some time after I had been "saved." Throughout the years, I have asked myself, "Did an Angel really save my life?" My memory is frozen in my 12-year-old mind. She remembers clearly what happened, but she can't explain it. My adult mind wants to use logic to explain it as an "overactive imagination." And both possibilities still exist simultaneously for me whenever I recall that day.
Back at the beach ...
As the entire Angel memory came flooding back to me, I stood watching, still pondering why the teen girl was not being helped by her Guardian Angel. Obviously, she was in dire straights, and obviously, she didn't want to be there, or so it seemed. I prayed continually for her safe return to the sand because I was afraid to experience a tragedy. For her, it may have only been an exciting challenge for which she would have bragging rights later.
Whichever dynamic was happening, I felt it was time to ask for Angelic intervention, but I just couldn't do it. I think a person has to believe something with their whole heart in order to also believe their prayers will be answered. I was not in a position to work with Angelic energies because I could not get my head around the logic or the mysticism. I felt stuck in that mindset, and a bit helpless.
I accept the notion that trauma is an important part of a life journey, and what we do with it is our soul work. I wonder still, however, if the Angels stand watching just long enough to let us learn something important before they rush in? Maybe this was the same reason why the Surfer Girl was still battling the waves. Maybe her challenges were teaching her something important and maybe her own Guardian Angel was actually standing very close to her during her time in the water. Maybe the Angels were keeping her reasonably safe even though it appeared she was in eminent danger. And maybe, just maybe, she KNEW the Angelic Realms protected her. This was a huge revelation to me. Maybe at that point, I was standing in my own fear, in my own confusion, and an Angel was standing by me while I came to my own conclusions. Challenges take many forms, not just physical but also emotional or spiritual.
I am sure you remember that age-old spiritual phrase,"You have to believe it before you see it?" Well, I had skirted around an important spiritual teacher and ally for most of my life because I didn't believe in Angels and I wanted to see evidence first. Yet, here I was, asking Mother Water for some kind of Angelic intervention so I could know Angels do exist, all the while, remembering that I experienced one such intervention many years ago.
How many Angels does it take
to know we are always guided and protected by Angels?
For some, it takes only one incident. For others, like me, it takes a few sightings and experiences to open my skeptical mind to other dimensions. But once I am open, I become a 100% believer. This was the way with the actual spiritual form of water. Once I experienced it a few times, I knew I would forever trust the messages and wisdom. It takes real courage to believe in something so much you no longer ask for proof, AND it takes courage to disbelieve something to the point where, even if proof appears, we choose disbelief and we are left dangling with our own convictions. What if we chose wrong? What if something terrible happens because we didn't trust? But what if we are saved and never have to experience danger, tragedy, confusion, or other such challenges? What if a "good life" is more than luck, but constant intervention by Angels? I thought about how much I might have learned from hard situations and whether I would have also learned as much if I didn't use my creativity to solve the problems. At what point did I surrender and endure the consequences because I did it my way? I knew this was going to be a tough contemplation with Angels and other Spirits dancing around me - likely so small they all fit on the head of a pin!
Fast forward to the surfer girl
So there I was, walking the beach, asking for proof of Angels and reasons why I should even believe in them even though I already had some kind of proof I didn't accept. The truth is, I was still testing. Now, as I looked at the water, I felt a gentle presence surround me. As I attempted to figure it out, I experienced an "a-ha moment." Whether we choose to believe in Angels - or not they are still doing their work just like any other spiritual deity. They neither correct our assumptions nor alter our thinking about this; and it really doesn't matter. To believe or not to believe is perfectly alright.
When I arrived back at the point, the young woman was drifting toward an outcropping of rocks, and I feared she would get slammed against them with the next set of pounding waves. This time I prayed differently, "Please Angel of The Water, give this courageous surfer girl a wave she can ride home safely."
As I returned to the parking lot, I heard loud yelling on the beach. I hurried over to the cliff railing, fearing the worst, but receiving joyous news. People were cheering for the girl, who actually did catch a big wave and rode it to the sand. Any chance her Angel may have intervened? Or my Angel? I don't know, but as I got ready to step into my car, I looked on the ground and there was a silver coin that looked like a quarter, so I bent down and scooped it up.
It was no quarter. It was an Angel Blessing Coin. I had not seen one of those in decades and I am positive this coin wasn't there when I got out. I would have seen it. The coin had been carefully placed so I could not miss seeing it.
My connection to Angels just became real to me for the very first time.
Angels instead of lunch
I decided to head downtown, where I could get lunch and see new things. I had recently moved to this community, and there were still many places to explore. Of course, parking was non-existent... until, right in front of me a space opened up. What luck! As I nosed my car into the space, and looked up to see where I was, I noticed a tiny little storefront, not wider than the doorway itself. On the door it said, "Things from Heaven, an Angel Store." Oh good gosh! This was too much of a coincidence, don't you think?!!! The coin, and now this? But, since I was there to see new things, I decided to go in.
Every square inch of the store was filled to capacity with Angel gifts, books, paintings, statues, stickers, jewelry, and cards. I felt a little uneasy with all of the ornate renditions of Angel art staring at me. All these images didn't look at all what I "felt" an Angel looks like. Every period of organized religion was represented in the merchandise and it was hard to sort it all out. I had a hard time looking at most of it because it was just too, too much. It was then I realized that billions of people actually think angels look like these exaggerated, dramatic renditions; and this is what they relate to when they think about Angels.
In that moment I understood why I had turned away from Angels all these years. None of the merchandise I saw looked remotely like the Angelic energies I had experienced as a child. Because I never saw a cute, cartoonish flutter-by, or a glamorous Winged-Woman, I did not believe I had an Angelic experience. As an adult, I turned away from most of these Angel depictions because they were too guilded, too pretty, too bejeweled, too halo'd, and entirely too "sweet." And especially, too UNREAL to me. Now I understood ... I had rejected Angels because all the ways humans portray Angels look unreal to me. Basically, I had eliminated a spiritual path mainly because the imagery turned me away. Boy! Was I wrong. I would soon find out why. Up to this point, I had been judgmental and uppity about what kind of images I would embrace. I had not allowed images like those in the store to have a place in my consciousness. Instead of thinking of the goodliness, I had stopped believing in Angels because I had been an art snob!
As I made my way toward the back of the store, I headed for an open door, and it lead into a meeting room or a gallery. The light was off, but I entered anyway hoping for a little open space to collect my thoughts.
Immediately I felt a brilliant glow of light emanating from one of the walls. I went directly toward a large painting that seemed to give off an appealing, curious light. I figured it was maybe a black light painting or something like that. As I got ready to put my hand on the painting, I felt strong heat, not comfortable, but a buzzing warning energy. I quickly turned around and smacked into the proprietor who was right behind me. He laughed at my need to touch the painting (and get away from it) and the painting's need NOT TO BE TOUCHED! He commented that this happens all the time.
"I'm guessing you found a parking place right in front of the store, right?" he asked with a playful grin.
Beaming broadly, he explained that his store was never supposed to be an Angel Store, but it evolved that way through various circumstances, and for 20 years it has been a haven for people who need the spiritual support of Angels. The artist who created the glowing painting had sold his Angel paintings out of this back room gallery for years. The owner also said when a person finds a parking space, miraculously in front of their store, it is because an Angel made it happen. Hmmm......But why me, I asked politely? He said the answers would come.
Be careful what you ask for
I began to feel a little weak and shaky. I mentioned I should leave. On the contrary, the proprietor said. I was exactly in the right place. The painting that attracted me had been painted by Andy Lakey, a former drug abuser who had overdosed and "died," but was given a second chance by his Guardian Angel. He promised to paint 2000 Angel paintings and devote the rest of his life to Angels if he was allowed to live. He was never an artist, but he painted Angels in an abstract form using raised paint lines and bright or mystical color schemes. This was one of his last paintings. He had passed away and now his Angel paintings have become extremely valuable all over the world. The one I wanted to touch was valued at over $15,000 and had been promised to a Japanese collector. I didn't know anything about Angel art, or the artist, but I knew it had some powerful magnetic resonance that pulled me into the store and made me enter that back room. I instantly realized Andy Lakey's paintings were an answer to my confusion about how Angels should look. They should look precisely like the artist FEELS.
Astonishingly, in the corner of the room was a shrine plastered with more than 25,000 Post-It notes with prayers and blessings left by visitors throughout the years. BELIEVERS! 25,000 people had made their beliefs visible. I was humbled by the display. I could feel the energy buzzing all around that corner, and it was like no other psychic energy I have ever felt. There was such comfort and love.
All the way home I had an urge to draw or paint ocean waves. When I got home, I got right to it. Over and over I drew waves; but the drawings began to morph, and the waves began to take on a different look and feel. One "wave" stood out and looked almost human in a ghostly way. Soon, I added a little color to it, gave it a face, some hair and an arm. I believed I was drawing a spiritual image of Mother Ocean, but as I worked the chalk, the image transformed before my eyes. It was definitely an Angel and not an ocean wave. Not a traditional Cherubic or Religious Angel, either. No ornaments, no halos, no wings... but a wispy, fluid, liquid, misty Angel. And then she spoke.
"In order to reach many types of people with your offerings, you have to give them something they accept without doubt. I am here to serve that need. Use me to bless water and many more people will believe."
Here it was! The possibility of working with Angels was exactly what I had asked my guides to help me with earlier in the day. I continued to work on the drawing, and as I did, blessing words came to mind. I realized I was not only making an Angel drawing, but I was creating another Water Blessing Collection for The Spirit of Water. By the time I was finished that day, I had not only drawn the Angel image, (shown at the top) but channeled messages and prayers through a powerful spiritual force. When I was finished there was an Angelic Message for each of the blessing words. For the back of the packaging card, "they" had guided me to share all the ways Angels appear in our lives. It all happened so fast.
My biggest mistake through the years of spiritual expansion was failing to include something as profound as the Angelic Realms in my awareness. My second biggest mistake was to reject all the commercialized Angel depictions and thereby reject Angels in general. I guess I thought Angels were just another story like Sleeping Beauty or Snow White. When people said I should believe, I found myself alone - NOT BELIEVING any of it because of appearances. I learned a lot that day. Angels now make sense to me. They are a different form of energy. They are soft, gentle, and protective; and completely unconditional in their love. They bring us messages, and offer needed assistance when we ask. For me, the energy feels like a Mother's love. I am a newbie Angel believer and I feel the excitement of a new spiritual expansion.
As we reach for new insights to expand our awareness, we are met with all forms and versions of Love on the planet. It is up to us to see the beauty and value of each - and accept or reject based on wisdom, not prejudice. If we can just pry open stuck doorways to our inner world, we just may find beautiful and valuable new ways to Love ourselves and others.

When you get right down to it, our stories are part of who we are. Our lives are the ultimate works of literature from comedy to tragedy. Individually we have endured so much in our difficult human lives. Collectively, we are people who have endured life together and share this time and space. Our stories may be different, but when we tell them to each other, we become bonded in their sameness.

Individually we have endured so much in our difficult human lives. Collectively, we are people who have endured life together and share this time and space. Our stories may be different, but when we tell them to each other, we become bonded in their sameness.
When we tell our stories with honesty and vulnerability, thereby, creating a full experience for the listener, we transfer our energy to another person, making it possible for them to know us much deeper as they feel their own emotions that are activated by our sharing.
Out for a walk...
Wandering over to the babbling ripples in my favorite stretch of the nearby creek, I was silenced by the voices of the ancestors talking to me through water. I have heard voices before, but this time, there were many talking at the same time. How was I to understand what was being said? I could barely determine which voice had the most power. They all had qualities I wanted to hear.
Sitting in the damp sand, I decided to suffer the discomfort of the cold moisture penetrating my backside. Even if I wanted to leave, I couldn't. My curiosity had kicked in and kept me locked in the listening position - head cocked to one side or the other, straining to get a clear message. And then it came, almost as clear as if a person was standing right next to me. The cacophony of voices faded into the background as the new voice rose above the drone.
"Don't be afraid to tell your story. Your story is more precious than anything else you can share, even money, even time, even love."
Was this a trickster who had my ear? I cocked my head again and asked for clarification.
"When you tell your story, you heal yourself and those who are listening."
I kept this information in my heart for a long time before I decided to ask for more. About an hour later, after contemplating MY story, I asked the voice if it was true... would people really benefit by me sharing my story? I mean, my real life story? What good could that possibly do?
The Burbles...
I hear lots of messages from water that speak of loving the natural world, and honoring water, but this was the first time I heard a message that wasn't about the voice of water... AND, it spoke to me in burbles. This is actually a reference from times when I was a young mother with two little boys. My sons used to play around with their milk by taking a full drink and then trying to talk without dribbling any of their milk out. The sound came out like burbles - and they DID spill lots of milk doing it... but that's quite another story! Anyway, water talked to me (in burbles) and yet, I understood the message on a much deeper level - in my very core
I had been struggling for 3 months trying to finish writing a book series about awakened ways to launch a new business. I kept getting stuck. Certainly I know the material. I have been a business muse for many years. My knowledge is sound and valuable to those wanting to create new enterprises. Naturally, I thought I could offer my unique perspectives by writing a book series. I even presented the material in workshop settings and got lots of encouraging reviews. But most people told me it was my interesting stories inserted between the information - not the authoritative command of my information - that made the sessions priceless for them. I had forgotten this detail until the The Mother of Water burbled that
message. Stories.... yes, the simple magic I had left out.
Mother of Water told to "write my story," not write a guidebook. Yes, I understood. No wonder I couldn't finish the series. It was boring! But my stories would certainly bring it to life. Hmmm..... inspiration began to flow.
There are millions of self-help books on the shelves today. And yet, most people don't retain any of the the details or processes. What they remember most is the way they felt when they were told a story.
The Pleiadians came one night....
I have a friend who claimed to have had an encounter with the most amazing Pleidians rising out of a lake of lights one summer at a Boy Scout Camp. No one believed her. I did. I LOVED listening to her stories about how she met them and what they told her. All summer, I asked her to repeat the story. Did it cause fear to enter my mind? Yes! Was I intrigued? Yes, again. Did I secretly long to have been the one to meet the aliens? Absolutely!
I remember her story vividly because I FELT the experience in my bones and still feel it today. That summer, her life changed as a result of her close encounter. She dropped 85 lbs in a month, stopped wearing her contacts, and she grew 2" taller... in a month! Something amazing happened that summer, and I felt like I was part of it because I believed what she told me. Because of my trust in her story, we became lifelong friends and I learned a lot about myself. We just never know about the stories we hear, whether or not they are true; but we can be assured, if they warrant someone telling them, they are bound to have an impact in our lives and can change us dramatically in the sharing.
And then there was the psychiatrist...
A psychiatrist friend once told me that when we talk about the nature of our pain, it is like putting a snowflake in the sun. The pain melts immediately, and there is nothing left except the memory (or puddle!) which has lost its ability to affect us. He listened to my account of a particularly painful incident, and then asked if he could include it in a book he was writing. Within a year, my story became something others could use for their own healing or transformation. Once we tell a story, we release it to the ethers where it becomes part of divine group consciousness.
I am sure there are limits as to how much of our lives we want to share, but we all have stories that tell of spiritual experiences, love, adventures, and healing journeys. What meaning do these experiences have for us if we never share them with others?
Your story is as precious as mine. When we tell even one person, we are transformed forever. When we tell our stories to each other, we share a bond. We grow deeper in our humanity and deeper in our ability to trust.
Myths... stories that live throughout time
This week, I was excited to learn of a new DVD being released in theaters and for private purchase. It is called Mythic Journeys, and it addresses the power of myth in our culture. The people who wrote, directed and produced it have found a beautiful artistic way to tell us how important our stories are to the world and how important the stories of our ancestors are to us. If you never thought of the power of myth before, this film will ignite your inner muse and you will find yourself pondering ways you can share important parts of your life with yourself and with others.
With deep gratitude for The Mother of Water and her whimsical burbled conversation this week, I am taking my writing to a new level and including more than knowledge. I am including parts of myself. As for you, I can only suggest (in a non-burbled voice) you listen more closely to the stories around you. The voices are there and your story is also ready to share. Fall into stillness and prepare your heart to receive something amazing. And then pass along what you have heard or what you have experienced and keep myth alive in our culture.
Movies and TV have nothing over the stories that travel from one heart to another. Share.

I dive deeply into my own source, The Mother of Water, and ask her for clarification about what is sacred and what initial order of awareness becomes the foundation for living a life of gratitude and beauty.
As I listen to the waves pound rhythmically on the rocks, and the thunderous roar that rises from that divine cacophony, I hear a small voice repeat to me a phrase I already know from another time and space ...
First feel free.
The salty mist of this profound message is both confusing and intriguing. As a gratitude message, I am uncertain how this relates to my question. Well, of course, our freedom is something to be grateful for and is certainly sacred, feeling free conjures vague personal uncertainty. For instance, is freedom really free? Can we really make ourselves feel free? How does a feeling arise? What form of freedom can we all agree on? And do we really feel free in our hearts even if we say we are free in our lives? Looking for more answers, I asked again.
As I sat on the rocks and listened more closely, She, of the Water, the sacred feminine voice of consciousness provided the realization I was looking for and a good foundation upon which to build a new feeling of gratitude.
"Gratitude is the feeling of sand beneath the feet after a soul willingly dives into deep water and returns to shore drenched by new consciousness."
I know EXACTLY what that feels like. I never thought of that feeling as being the initial basis of gratitude. That's the point... you don't ever have to THINK about it... you just know you ARE GRATEFUL for the sand. Still She gave me more.
"The Gratitude we automatically feel when we are safe is the basis for all things Sacred. One cannot force that feeling to arise. It just does. One cannot dictate what is Sacred. It is different for each person, and so it should be. When we realize we are not bound by any other concepts, that is the moment when we first feel free."
I admit, I have let this complex concept swim in my mind for a while but here is what I think...
As we approach the harvest season and then the holidays ....
Freedom, Gratitude, and the Sacred are all tied up in a bundle that has largely been given to us by our culture and its mixture of many spiritual traditions. We celebrate holidays because this is what we all do together. But do these holidays really reflect who we are as individual souls? Do we honor ourselves by observing special days with our own sense of what is sacred? Does our gratitude arise in us because something natural and real influenced it? (we felt the sand) Or do we say we are grateful without really understanding the emotional dynamic o fthat gratitude? I ask these questions because doing so helps us uncover places where we may have adopted other spiritual ideals instead of our own. Our free thinking comes first and it is what actually leads us to gratitude and sacred celebration.
In order to find out what is truly sacred to each of us, we must challenge ourselves to see beyond the obvious (dive deep). It means we must view the world from a distance (above and below). And it means we must become aware of the moment when our feet touch the sand (gratitude!) and we are once again, stable and able. Feeling free to make this journey again and again, we find precious meaning in life, each time returning to our base, we experience a more enhanced sense of Gratitude. It seems, by this explanation, Gratitude is not simply something we intend to remember, but something that naturally occurs without reminder; and The Sacred is not something we create through holidays and all the flurry of traditional activities, but is a state-of-the-heart that is sparked by a remembrance of what those traditions mean to us personally. I see the connections... and I know in all ways, I must first feel free to explore life deeply so I can continue to return gratefully and freely to my heart after I have explored more deeply. This is what makes a sacred path, a sacred practice, and the ability to feel free.
I am grateful for sacred connections that give me a true feeling of freedom.
Our lives can change dramatically when we feel both connected AND free. And this is the foundation of gratitude (as I understand it from my feet up). Using this small idea, my wish is that you create sacred moments that shape your lives in beauty, illumination, and joy now and forever after. Don't feel bound to tradition simply because our culture says so. Let yourself swim deeply where you have never gone before. It is there... in the dark and deep where you will re-discover your sacred self after you return to the shore.
Rejoicing in the magic of life, one amazing insight at a time, The Spirit of Water is grateful to be part of the movement toward the light. Helping to create an abundant and expansive world, we are here, silently transforming water into Liquid Prayers.
For many, the changes they would most like to see are changes in the way they feel about their jobs, workplaces, earnings, and opportunities. People want to feel valued and appreciated for their contributions to a business' success. And yet most arrive each day on the job with the feeling that they have have to give up their own standards and accept the standards of the employer. Many feel they have already been used, abused, and undervalued. We are weary because of the way we are treated by our employers. When you realize that billions of people on the planet are unhappy about half of their lives, there is a huge preponderance of negative energy circulating like ocean currents in a sea of mass consciousness. We all swim in the same pool of energy and may not even realize we already have an overlay of discontent even before we open the workplace door. Can we shift this? Can we find a way to change the energy surrounding our jobs? Our earnings are important, but is the money worth the negative experiences we attribute to our jobs? Or, is there another way to feel that our time spent working is right and good?
There is a metaphysical side to this situation, and one that water blessings can remedy. Without making it seem whimsical or simple-minded, I thought deeply about the way we view our work and the places we agree to spend our days selling our labor. Would spiritual changes allow us to be free, or would we just find another job doing something similar under the same conditions?
BLESSING THE WORKPLACE
This past month we have heard from three women who shared their blessing experiences with us; and they are all "work" related situations they hoped Water Blessings would change. I believe the time is right for me to talk about blessing our workplaces, since so many of us hold jobs outside the home where the weather can be anything from "fair" to "stormy!" With the threat of reduction in workforces or the inability to earn more money, our jobs continue to require more and more of our energy. It is time to stop and ask ourselves if a new rhythm might shift life in a different direction so we could enjoy a new relationship with our skills and talents? Since most of us need to hold a job, maybe it is time to make the work experience more meaningful and positive. Water can play a big part.
KATE'S STORY
As Kate rushed into the break room to grab her morning coffee before heading to her desk, she thought about her workday and hoped it would be easy. The baby had been fussy the night before, and she was exhausted. She felt her tolerance already strained from traffic on drive into the City, and already, she was agitated. As she stood in a short line to get her coffee, she became distracted by a list of inspirational words someone had pinned to the bulletin board right next to the coffeemaker with a hand scrawled sign that read, "pick a word for the day and put it on your mug." Without any hesitation, she plucked her word and placed it on her coffee mug. With her leap of faith, her intention was set. She had created a positive energy field not only around her morning coffee, but also in the area surrounding her workstation and in the subtle energy in her heart that radiated outward to all co-workers. As she walked out of the break room, she noticed someone had put a "love" label on the water cooler. For good measure, she added a splash of cool "love water" to her coffee and went to her desk. Sitting down at her computer, she briefly contemplated the word she had picked - "Patience." Throughout the day, as she sipped, she was reminded to be extra patient with herself, her co-workers, clients and vendors. By the end of the day, as Kate rinsed her coffee mug, and replaced the blessing decal on the backing sheet for someone else to use the next day, she had to admit - it had been a beautiful day, it was easy, and she felt invigorated rather than drained. She felt her sense of "doing battle at work" shift to "sharing my gifts on the job." Now she was ready to pick up her baby at the sitter and have a beautiful evening with him.
SHARE YOUR BLESSINGS
Millions of people spend their days in places filled with employers, bosses, and co-orkers. At any given time, an employee is subjected to the moods, expectations and energies of many others around them. Holding a frequency of personal power and inner peace is sometimes very difficult when so many circumstances threaten to cancel whatever personal transformative work has been done outside the workplace. When Kate first wrote to us with her story and praised us for creating Water Blessing Labels - and told us she had purchased some for herself - it affirmed what we already knew. The simple act of blessing the office water cooler helps everyone in the office resonate with positive energies. Further, the act of setting an intention for the day helps us to become radiant, positive masters of our universe instead of victims of our circumstances. In the close confines of an office or workplace, people who experience a feeling of well-being tend help others feel that way too. The end result is that everyone works together more harmoniously and the days go smoothly.
THE SCIENCE OF WATER BLESSING
When Masaru Emoto experimented with water and found that water responds to intentions, his photographs of water molecules exposed to positive thoughts showed beautiful bright crystalline shapes. When negative thoughts were introduced to the same water, the photographed molecules then transformed into discolored blobs. Since human beings are over 70% water, and water molecules carry the imprint of thought, then it stands to reason that our own molecules are imprinted by our thoughts. When we drink water that has been influenced by positive thoughts, our own molecules are transformed into brilliant crystal shapes. Of course you would rather have crystals than blobs inside your cells..... OF COURSE!
BAD ATTITUDE AND CONFLICTS
Melissa wrote to us from Los Angeles. She was tired of the back-biting between employees in her production studio. Her moods were affected by constant complaints, mean and jealous gossip, and bad attitudes that consumed most conversations at break time. All this negativity had made her work experience very challenging, not to mention the extra long hours they all worked. She decided to take action. Melissa put Blessing Labels on the water cooler, some on the restroom mirrors, some on her computer and some on the metal panels dividing work areas. She didn't call attention to them, or even explain them to anyone. She just let them do their work. After several days, Melissa realized things had changed. She hadn't heard negative comments and complaints in the break room for days. Could it be that a new energy of cooperation, creativity, peace, kindness and clarity had already began to show up? Was it possible for these blessings to work so fast, or was it just a coincidence, she asked us in a tenderly-written letter. Our answer is that everything is possible when intentions are cast. And, when we cast an intention, our own energies change everything we come into contact with. That's how it works.
Emoto's research shows that blessed water molecules transform instantly - but please note: transformation can be negative or positive. Whenever water molecules flow into our bodies, into the coffeemaker, in the shower and down the drain, the fish tank, the garden or the dog's water bowl, transformation happens faster than you can blink. Changes don't only happen with blessings or curses. Beyond that, when any word or idea is viewed hundreds of times each day, whatever it is, it influences our subtle energies for as long as the exposure continues, and well beyond that.
As with Kate, the overworked young mother we referred to earlier, she intended "patience." Another day she may haven chosen "creativity" or "success." By thinking about what she needed and how she felt, she created her day the way she wanted it to be instead of accepting challenges beyond her control. By changing the energy in her consciousness and in her water (coffee), Kate was able to offset her fatigue and frustration caused by her sick baby. In the workplace, a small change like Kate's change of intention affects the entire office community in a positive way. Not only was Kate able to change her experience, but whoever used blessings to change their feelings that day co-created Kate's vision for the day. The positive energy was contagious. And it began with a single word.
As for Melissa's circumstances, she had used blessing words to "heal" the studio environment by taking steps to heal her own inner climate. She had been part of the negativity until she said, "NO MORE!" At that instant, she effectively changed her own attitude and then resonated a different energy that others responded to subconsciously. The positive words she placed around were an extension of her new weather pattern, which surrounded all her co-workers.
Nonnie wrote to us about another situation at her workplace. She works in a large chain store where most of the employees are women. Without naming names, this particular chain has a corporate policy of limiting managerial opportunities for women. Nonnie wanted to know if blessing labels could help to change that. Our suggestion was that she use some of the words that specifically empower women. A few months later, she wrote back. She had shared blessing words with her co-workers - all of them women who felt overworked and under-appreciated. What she noticed was that more of the women seemed happier on their jobs and two of them had even been promoted. It wasn't that suddenly new opportunities had been made available, but when her co-workers found ways to make their personal climate more positive, their daily work became more meaningful to them and they focused less on being a victim of their employers and more on being happy. As a result, more opportunities became available to all the women. When a woman or man feels that they are in control of their world, and that they are doing something meaningful to themselves, any situation can become a unique opportunity.
Thoughts do matter. There are many ways to bring harmony into the workplace. Blessings are easy to remember and so powerful when they are used. We can change our personal molecular structure by changing the blessings we use when we drink water; but we can also help change the energies in our workplaces and public places by setting our highest intentions for peace, harmony, cooperation, creativity and success. Setting blessed intentions via our drinking water can be one simple act that makes a huge difference in our daily lives whether we go to a job or spend the day working in our homes. We can affect the weather. Oh yes, we can.

There is great power in making a reverse bucket list. While most everyone knows how to do a regular bucket list -- and it is quite empowering to do at any age --I strongly suggest you do a reverse list. It will provide quite a different experience, possibly one that will open your heart to your past and give you deep appreciation for your journey through life.
The Power of Making a Reverse Bucket List is Profound.
Looking Back, Our Soul Journey Becomes Evident...
I started mine recently, then I realized everything I put on it, I had already done in some form or fashion. I couldn't think of anything that called strongly to me or teased me toward exciting achievements or accomplishments. I think the idea of listing possibilities or goals for the time we have left on earth might be an amusing thing to do; but my list seemed more like a mandate to me, rather than a list of dreams. So, while it was fun at first -- and over all, a very nice idea -- I wondered to myself if it might be more interesting to make a list of all the places I have been? Or all the things I have done? Or all the treasures I have collected along the way? Or all the people I have exchanged energy with? Or all of the ways I have found the most extraordinary experiences?
In the past, when asked what I do for a hobby, I always replied, "I collect experiences." Now I wanted to remember them all and making a list was a deeply profound experience.
For me, the reverse bucket list was the list that has made the greatest difference in the way I think about the journey my soul has taken. In a way, making that list has defined for me what I could not answer in words or thoughts. First, I was so very grateful for my life path --so full of gifts and enrichments. But secondly, and most importantly, my past actions aptly defined my soul's purpose for me. That was the most surprising and easiest conclusion I have ever come to - and I wasn't even trying.
In our spiritual life we sometimes make things more complicated than they have to be. There are teachers who can take us into guided meditations to find our soul journey or soul purpose, and they can help us through confusion about our lives; but if you make a reverse bucket list and find out which kinds of tides brought you to where you landed - right up to this very moment, and what choices you made, you will see an obvious pattern that cannot be denied.
Sure, we all have big dreams and intentions, and those come entirely from our creative minds; but it is the subtle evidence of our life purpose that is revealed by the continuous line we made for ourselves originating in the past and touching us right at this moment that have the ability to change how we think of ourselves and our life purpose. From experience, I can tell you...once you see where you've been, if you don't like what course you took to get to this place it is not too late to make a change and set yourself free so you can set yourself on a different course. But let your reverse bucket list do the work for you so you can take steps that enhance your soul's purpose. That is the only way we will ever find contentment during shifting sands, rising tides or turbulent waters.
There is a place on the beach where I like to spend most of my time. I like the "left-behinds" that make up a ragged, messy line-up of living and dead flotsam from the sea. This is where I poke my stick and look around for treasures. It is much the same way with life. My reverse bucket list is like that beach debris. I see parts of my life scattered for miles. With each step, more is revealed about my unique journey as shown by what got left behind. I walk away from the beach feeling better for having seen those remnants of my intentions. I will move on, and I will not get stuck in limbo waiting for something - anything - to move me. I will not get carried back to sea. I will keep walking away from the past but carry gratitude for what gifts it provided to me. I see my reverse bucket list like that debris in sand, and I am deeply grateful I took all the side trips and risks and made it to various edges and plateaus, for I know with certainty, it is my soul's purpose to learn about life so I can tell others what I found and how they can find it too. Looking back, my reverse bucket list showed me that I my soul has always been an adventurer and teacher, and now I can finally breathe gently - and own it.

Every so often, my Spirit Guides awaken me in the wee hours of the morning. Usually I hear a message I can't ignore. When this happens, I know I am being nudged to get up and write. I might try to close my eyes and fall back asleep, but the theme keeps running, even in the dream state. I have found it is best to get the information in text, and then I can nap later. The subject and all the headlines in this email reflect direct "quotes" from my favorite guides, "The Mother of Water." This is a collective of souls from the knowledge realm of the Sacred Feminine.
"Karma," I hear them say, "is misunderstood." In most cases it is about action and reaction, but it is also about setting something in motion that will resonate for a long period of time. Such was the case when I declared my independence from car trouble. Such an insignificant thing in the fabric of the universe, but Mother Water reminded me of the time I made such a powerful declaration of independence that, to this day, 20 years later, it is still working.
The scene was right out of a movie
If you could have ordered the day to fit with the lesson, it could not have been more perfect. But this, however, was all random. It was the day before Christmas and I was heading south to be with my family, about 300 miles away. I had only enough money to buy a tank of gas on the way, and I had been counting on the fact that I would be receiving a money gift from my parents when I arrived.
I chose a travel window in alignment with the weather. No snow for a day I heard the weather man say. And the rain was going to stop for a while, too. So I confidently headed out. About 75 miles into the journey, the rain came. A torrential downpour with gale-type winds made driving hazardous; and at one point, I had to pull off to the shoulder to wait it out. The car sputtered and died. After 20 minutes, after the downpour stopped I tried to start it, and nothing happened. Again and again, I tried. This was before the days of cell phones, but I was about ½ a mile from an exit and I could see a gas station sign, so I grabbed my umbrella and set out on foot. Of course the umbrella crumpled and blew away under the strain of the wind. Of course I was splattered numerous times by passing cars. Of course, my shoes and clothes were drenched, and of course, this was in the mountains, so snow was beginning to come down. Didn't I say it was a perfect "movie set?" Yes... drama galore.
Well... the gas station was boarded up and was abandoned. The pay phone was gone, just the booth remained. I stood in that booth and cried. I was more than 5 miles from the next exit.
When I got my wits about me, I decided to head back to my car, but as I started back, the snow started falling so hard, I could hardly see, and I wasn't wearing the proper clothing, plus, I was already wet. Aching from the cold, frustrated with the car, and afraid I could spend hours out on the freeway trying to get anywhere, I screamed at the top of my lungs to "God."
"This will never happen again. I will never have a broken down car again, and I will never be this poor again. Now get me out of this! &*(^%$#@" (yes, I cursed!)
As I got back to my car, a towing service pulled up. I explained I had no money so he should just leave. Instead, he invited me into his truck and put a blanket around me and wished me Merry Christmas. Hitching up my car to his rig, I sat in the cab and continued to cry. This time for joy. He towed me to his friend's service station in the next town, but they were closing. It was Christmas Eve, and his mechanic was gone. They would not be able to work on my car until the day after Christmas. With no money for a motel, no money for a bus, no money for anything, I slumped into surrender and doubted my earlier declaration. But then anger rose up in me again. With my most intent thoughts (silently, of course) I put in another demand to my Creator.
"OK Great Spirit. You got me here. It's up to you to get me home!"
On the strength of my gratitude alone and my honest face, I guess, the owner of the station invited me to stay at the station while he went home to have a holiday celebration with his family. He showed me how to lock and unlock the doors, turned on the heater in the back office, and told me to stay there until I could figure out what to do next. If I needed to sleep in the office, there was a cot and some blankets, a coffee maker, some Top Ramen and a microwave. I was invited to help myself.
"Help Yourself."
Sometimes we forget the power of that statement. Helping myself meant more than using the resources of generous angels, but really sitting with myself and figuring out a solution. And, I had choices I wasn't even aware of. I did spend the evening and part of the night in the gas station, but by midnight that evening, I wonderful friend arrived to help me. He found and rest stop where we could stay overnight. In the morning, he drove me to where I would meet up with other helpers, who would relay me the entire distance. In a series of rides, each of which were gifted to me by selfless souls, I ended up at my family Christmas celebration a little late on Christmas afternoon, a little shaken, but humble and grateful. I was helped, but only after I helped myself by working out a plan and contacting those who might be able to help me. There was synergy afoot... or magic!
Back to Mother Water
This morning she reminded me of that Christmas incident and reminded me of the power of making declarations - or affirmations. The power of helping ourselves. I will say it again... THE POWER OF HELPING OURSELVES by declaring what we want, or don't want, or expect or believe!!! It's all about the power behind the punch.
That day out on the highway, when I declared I would never face those kinds of issues again, I had added the full power of my rage, my frustration, and my fear. What a potent mix! My declaration of independence from such things punctured the veil of consciousness like a lightning bolt and made its way through a few dimensions where it was acted upon by cosmic forces. I set up a demand, Spirit heard it, and my "car-ma" was changed instantly. 20 years later, and I have never experienced that kind of exasperation - ever. In fact, the repair of my car cost me $3.95 for a small plastic cap, and $20 for fifteen minutes of labor. to install it on the starter. And this is what Mother Water was nudging me about to share with you today. Not only did my rides come through, but the money issue was addressed, too. The car cost me the nearly the exact amount of money I had with me when I made that declaration... $25.00. Isn't this amazing? That is the power of the punch! Use it. We gently call these bits of declaration "affirmations" in our spiritual or self-help practices; but I am telling you, they are LIGHTNING BOLTS. They are punches into the fabric of creation.
When we use the power of our emotions, plus the power of positive statements, plus the power of belief, we create an energized cosmic field shaped as an laser beam in which action is met with reaction. This is how Karma works. It is not entirely about the little things we do, or don't do. It is not so much about whether we are naughty or nice. It is not about reward or punishment. It is about whether our personal power is focused on something and we are ready to accept what comes next. If we fail to focus our energy or use our power to bring harm to another, on the strength of our intentions, we will pay a price. But if we accidentally harm another, no intent implied, we are not adding to our karmic overload. If we want to change something, or bring something into our lives, on the power of our declarations and the power of our goodness, it will happen. Count on it.
As I listened to the messages this morning, I kept hearing Mother Water express her gentle connection with the ocean. When the big waves come to shore because of storms or turbulence in the sea, they do some damage and sometimes it is major damage involving homes and buildings; but mostly, they clear the beaches of sand debris and prepare a new space for new energy. The shoreline may have been altered. The cliffs may have eroded, the buildings gone, the rocks may have been broken up. But something new comes from all of that destruction - new life.
If I could have filmed my story on the highway, wet, freezing, crying, trudging, getting splashed, etc. I would have asked Diane Keaton or Cameron Diaz to play my role. They both suffer so perfectly on screen. Looking back, I suffered, too. They would have shouted at God and stomped around in the puddles and made funny faces, and made it comedic as well as dramatic. They would have shaken their fist to the heavens with scornful darting looks. Yes... and I did all those things, too. It would have been a good movie to bring home the point. Declare your independence from things that hurt, harm, trouble, disappoint, or diminish you. Use the force of that declaration to clear the beaches of your life. Use the power of your belief to keep the declaration strong and alive. Allow Spirit to show you better ways. Use intention with consciousness. And above all, AFFIRM (not a gentle, dreamy, kind of poetic prose), but a full passionate declaration assisted by stomping and screaming, AFFIRM what you want using the power of your clear intentions. Use your lightning bolt to punch the veil so your creation can get back to you.
This is how Karma works... according to Mother Water, and the group consciousness that woke me up this morning. I agree. I totally agree, and I have proof.

This time of the year, we begin a long season of holy days illuminating many cultures. Our ritual celebrations include Pagan, Hebrew, Muslim, African, Christian, Nordic, and more. Whatever way you choose celebrate this time of the year, we bless all people who seek spiritual nourishment from these observances and use them to refuel their hearts and minds for another year of living.
The Ocean We Are
With humility and deep conviction, I would like to suggest, as we begin a season of holy day celebrations - including a major celebration of gratitude - that we thank ourselves first. There will be plenty of opportunities to acknowledge Heaven and Earth after we have taken what is rightfully ours to take - an etheric pat on the back, a silent round of applause, a self-reward for who we are and what we bring, a song of high praise sung beneath our breath, and a clear vision of our self-worth. Is this too much to ask? We freely give these things and more to all others who touch our lives.
Narcissism? Think again...
If this suggestion seems narcissistic, please consider this....in spite of whatever we give silently to ourselves, we will still show plenty of gratitude for those who influence us with their many gifts; we will still whisper prayers of appreciation and sing praises for the accomplishments of others; and we will still elevate those who achieve greatness to a lofty podium in our minds. It isn't like we are discounting the importance of others in our lives. We are just adding ourselves to the long list of those we are grateful to know. In truth, this little suggestion goes beyond the concept of narcissistic "self-adoration." Self-gratitude is a totally different dynamic.
There is a metaphysical truth about self-appreciation. When we dare to speak highly of our Self, all our love and energy reverts inside us where it literally resonates every cell of our body, mind, and spirit. This regenerates infinite aspects of Creation. In the process, All Life is sanctified by the energy of our self-recognition. When we thank ourselves first, we continue to vibrate to a higher frequency where the true nature of the creative force originates. Emanating this strong vibration for the Universe to feel is the purest demonstration of gratitude that can be expressed; for when we are grateful for ourselves and feel recognized and acknowledged, we are able to give honest gratitude to others with the full force of our love. There is nothing more disingenuous than expressing gratitude for others when we cannot even feel our own self-gratitude. How can we love another when we don't love ourselves?
This is the time and the season...
As a practice of spiritual expansion, be ready to honor all that you are, and all that you give. Let it begin now. The holy day ritual celebrations will require much of us. We will give our energy in many ways in order to help others feel love and support. We will drain our time, our patience, and our bank accounts to build a moment of joy and holy transformation for those we love. We will share spiritual and communal bonding. While we are giving so much for the sake of others, stop and give back to yourself. Be prepared to experience a spiritual fullness like none other. Moment by moment, see yourself included when you are sharing with others. Take a different approach to gift-giving, by knowing that whatever you give to others, you can also give to yourself. The richness of your sacred self-offerings becomes the holy ground on which you will walk each day. The altar of your self-awareness becomes a place of divinity for All Life. In this way, we can ask with full authenticity, who is being worshipped when we cherish ourselves equally as those we cherish? Love. We are cherishing Love.
Every couple of years, I like to remind myself, and you, the readers of my blogs, why I bless water and why I have been in the business of selling Water Blessing Labels for 11 years.
The easy answer is, "it feels right." The longer answer has to do with my personal spiritual journey and how I was lead "into the water" by Spirit so many years ago. I will get to that a little further down the column; but right now I am hoping to revive an interest in blessing water and blessing all elements of our world. Blessing anything has not lost its power. The practice may have become overshadowed by other spiritual trends, but blessings have worked since humans could sense the presence of spirit in all things.
Blessing Water Is Still Relevent In Our Fast-Paced Techno World
One thing about ancient belief practices... they were conceived and passed down through families, religions, masters, and teachers. Each person who performed various rituals or rites added their energies to the Practice. The Practice is a real thing. It is a holy creation. It does not belong to religions, but religions use The Practice in their teachings. The Practice is largely dependent upon a strong ability to believe we are making some kind of connection to the cosmic universe and the Creator of it ALL. I say that loosely. None of us really know who created life even if scientists like to suggest they have the answers. They don't. But, as belief goes, the reason rituals became holy is because those who gave their power to the ritual did so because they believed in the outcome with their whole heart. They might call it the "will of God," or something similar, but nonetheless, with that much belief, our most sacred rites and rituals are literally loaded with power just waiting to be used, and they deserve to be used and honored in the same manner in which they were conceived. Blessing water is one of the first blessings recorded by humans and carries with it as much power today at it did 6 millions years ago. It is hard to imagine a world without blessed water. We believe it heals, teaches, and inspires. The amazing thing is... it does do all those things for each of us when we make a commitment to our beliefs.
Groups that participate in blessing practices are using the amplified energies of each participant and adding it to the stream of consciousness that began in ancient times. Just think of all that power! Imagine how many billions of humans have blessed water since life began!!! When we bless water we are floating on the top of that gigantic wave of love. That, I assure you, makes a huge difference in the world. That is why tribal cultures still use blessing rituals, and priests still bless holy water, using sage, incense, prayer, and other ritual processes. These are not neurotic, out-dated practices as some brain scientists want us to believe these days. These practices are supported by a powerful tide of open, loving hearts, with high respect for the spiritual power of belief.
We all get busy.... and we forget.
Yes, we have busy lives, and sometimes it feels necessary to shave off bits of time where we can. Maybe we quickly utter a half-hearted blessing over our food or water and turn our attention immediately elsewhere, thinking the bare minimum will be enough. Actually, no blessing goes unnoticed in the energy of the universe, but those blessings that are honored with the gift of our time and attention have a much better chance of creating the miracles we desire. And we all know what those miracles are - we want ourselves and our loved ones to be well and safe; we want our needs to be met; we want love; we want our efforts to produce the outcome we desire. These are all great reasons for blessing our water or participating in a group blessing ritual. Everyone who puts energy into the blessing gets energy back out. Guaranteed!
In the simplest terms, it all boils down to investing in ourselves and our beliefs... and making time to respect our wishes as if they are precious conceptions. Belief changes us and it changes our personal journey. It changes the creation we call "life." Belief in anything sets up a powerful cosmic wave of energy that washes over us and creates a path of manifestation. In doing so, our life is altered. We see shifts in our motivations. We feel the inner power needed to create the lives we want. When we invest in our beliefs and bless our path, we amplify our ability to share our truest love energy with others -- and receive abundance right back.
There are so many benefits to believing in something powerful. Some might say, in terms of investing, this is a Blue Chip Stock! It always pays back more than we put in, but we have to be real about what we put into our sacred blessing space. We must give our attention to our intention or else it doesn't work. Attention is a powerful beam of energy -- inner light -- that illuminates a clear space where the creative forces of intention mix with the creativity of the universe to send positive results. We make the world light when we bless ourselves, our loved ones, and our beautiful earth.
Now, please be certain about one thing... I am not even thinking about organized religion or any of the hundreds of worldly doctrines when I speak of belief. Belief has no name and no face. It has no God. It has no origin. Belief is not part of an organizing principle. I am saying when we believe in something beyond what our logical minds tell us, we are lifted out of this reality into a new reality where our energy profile changes and we become different human beings. It is that simple ... and that profound
What Does a Blessing Look Like in the Spirit World?
When I started writing this article, I gave a short reason for engaging in the practice of blessing water and selling Water Blessing Labels, but I am ready to share something very personal with you now. One of the reasons I became a participant in the former partnership of The Spirit of Water is because the invitation to join with my friends in this enterprise came to me after I had experienced a Near-Death-Experience, and an Out-of-Body experience, following a surgical error. If you can see that photo above, that was me! It was 2000, but it might have been the past or present. I had no reference to time whatsoever. I was literally floating around the surgical room in several forms, and then finally my spirit flew free to another dimension where I was given the greatest gift of life that can be imagined.
While I have precise and vivid memories of each moment before, during, and after the encounter on the other side, what I remember most about being ALIVE on the other side, was understanding the power of our intentions as we know them on earth. I instantly understood that this energy is like sound waves, and information waves, and love waves; and I felt a flood of information waves filter into my mind followed by a gentle, but insistent voice telling me it was not my time to stay -- that I had to return and share this information with others. I didn't want to come back. I was so content learning about the fabric of our Creation. So I hesitated and resisted a little. It was my decision to make, but then I released myself from Spirit and returned to my struggling physical body on the surgical table.
For nearly 3 years after that experience I was in a daze, and confused about everything -- confused about people, about life, about everything, really. I had returned to my body with an open portal to a Spirit Group that regularly "advised me" and helped me understand all that I had been given. I returned with psychic abilities and sight that could peer through many veils. What could I possibly do with all that?
In 2003, my friends invited me to become a creative partner in a water-related, blessing business modeled after Dr. Emoto's water blessing outreach. I already knew this opportunity was coming to me and it would provide a platform where I would ultimately share those most precious teachings from the other side. I knew I would write Water Blessings and all types of blessing descriptions; and I would create artful ways of using words and images so that the massive power of each word I produced on clingy vinyl strips would become a continuation of the wisdom I was entrusted with. I knew that the power of sacred rites and rituals needed to be continued throughout our lives; and therefore, I knew I had been given a mission to keep this practice alive, not as a priest or healer, not as a guru, not as a spiritual author, but as a normal, everyday entrepreneur. Wow! Imagine that! Just a humble single working woman sharing priceless knowledge and gifts as I marketed my humble goods. It didn't compute at the time, but I accepted the mission with full heart even as I watched so many spiritual "authorities" become wealthy and famous for sharing much less information than I had been given. I had to make a choice... to promote myself, or share the information. One could not live with the other. Something happens when fame steps in.
The business had an extra boost from Spirit. Many messages, examples, and wisdom teachings continued to come to me as promised when I agreed to go back to my body and my life. On the other side, they never said it would be so challenging to bring a million mega-watts of power into a 100 watt light bulb. That was me -- the light bulb, backed with all those mega-watts of energy. To say I was confused is an understatement. Those who knew me before and after were kind to hold on, but many of my friends left. I don't blame them. I was not the safe, lovable, compliant person I had been. I came back to my body with intentions that were huge. My imperative was for the work, not less serious aspects of life. I saw through the veils of life and some of it was hard to swallow. So, no. I was not normal by any stretch of the imagination.
The dynamics of a partnership can best be described as the highest exercise in patience, tolerance, ego-release, and surrender. We all went through the ringer with each other, struggling to make our diverse intentions for the business come together like one powerful beam of energy.
It was difficult to blend my mission with the desires of my partners; and I know they tried hard to understand me, but couldn't. Please note: I was still speeding at 1000 mph in my desire to share information and make more blessings -- even 2 years after the near death experience. I was still driven to share wisdom with anyone who might benefit. But I was still a little crazy, too. It is hard to hold all that frequency without things bursting at the seams... and they did! The business could not sustain my prolific outpouring of new collections and more blessings. The partners wanted to stop at 10 sets, and I continued to design and write 40 more (with more information rising each day and nowhere to put it!) In each blessing collection, I put a "chapter" of wisdom shared with me on the other side.
So, you get the picture...our partnership fizzled to a halt... but as a single owner, I kept The Spirit of Water alive with just me as primary writer, artist, manufacturer, accountant, webmaster, social media-nista, shipper, etc. And here's the truth... I continue with the same enthusiasm today as I did when I returned to my body with that sacred calling. To this very moment, I am still committed to creating ways to convey all the beautiful and cherished teaching I absorbed instantly on the other side. Even as I package an order, (yes, like I said... I do it all) my personal blessings ride along in the envelope and I bless the recipient with the wisdom of the ancient teachings and the lineage of the ancient blessing rites since life began. Love travels through the mail and arrives with each order. For me, this is normal... and I believe it makes a difference.
I don't give up even when sales are down.
I continue to ride the blessing wave like a surfer. Sometimes I am up and lots of times I am underwater. But I never forget what the goal is. It is to keep the energy of blessings and belief alive and strong. This is why I keep honoring the holy practice... it's because blessings work and we must not stop the momentum. Belief works. Respect for life on all levels rises to its highest form when we cast a blessing for ourselves, for someone, to someone, into the oceans, skies, earth, or out into the vast cosmic reality.
On the other side, they said our prayers work. They said our blessings work. They said the lineage of blessing power flows like water through many shores and many canyons. They said I would be true to the teachings if I honored the energies of water, honored the properties of water, honored the way water permeates all life, honored the way water quenches all thirsts, and honored the human spirit. So that is why I continue to sell water blessings. I was given a sacred mission and I intend to keep it alive until such time as Spirit tells me otherwise. My path is part of an ancient covenant. But yours is too. When we take the time to practice the ancient arts of blessing, we surf on the greatest wave of love ever imagined.
The process begins with prayer and this can be structured any way that feels like the right expression. There are no rules except to be honest and transparent in the process. A statement of the problem is made, and the transgression is discussed. Family members who participate in this healing ceremony are expected to help work the problems through and cooperate with the individual's healing process -- never to reinforce blame or shame but to serve as compassionate and helpful witnesses.
Doing the process with others, we share all we know about how we may have caused the problem, and we invite others to offer their input. Doing the process alone, we mentally explore everything we did to possibly cause the illness or problems in our lives, and we follow the thread of influence to determine what effect it has had, not only on ourselves, but on others, as well. We may not know all the threads of consequences our actions have had on others, but we intently work with the process of imagination to visualize what may have happened to others as a result of our transgression.
Periods of silence are needed for reflection on the entanglement of actions and emotions and how they lead to all injuries. In a group, everyone's feelings are acknowledged and your own feelings are also heard and acknowledged. When the confession has been revealed, repentance and forgiveness take place. Everyone releases each other, and we end our process by letting go of of the memory of past mistakes. This is important. To be "memory free" is to be liberated from all the residue of shame and blame. The pain is gone. The effect on our minds is gone. It simply dissolves into nothing. And since there was nothing left to carry inside, we find ourselves at the Zero Point of existence in this regard. We are now able to recreate a new life. Then we release our soul to travel forward in a completely healed space.
We close the event with a ceremonial feast, a symbol of the release.
This process is not unlike many religious confessional practices or even the 12-Step Programs for addictions. The greater power of Ho'oponopono is that we go forward with deep love and a clean slate, knowing that we are 100% responsible for our lives, our illnesses and our injuries -- and we are instantly endowed with the knowledge that we are 100% capable of healing ourselves and our problems by using this process again and again for all manner of problems.
The cleansed soul carries no residue. If repeat transgressions may happen, they might be caused by unexplored or ignored memories in the original process. In order to be completely healed of that residue, the process must happen again and again until there is no more possibility of repeat. It works. It has worked for thousands of years and it will work for you. But it is much more pleasing to do the process once with great depth and honesty than to return to the same issue over and over. In other words, be like a laser beam and reveal all the hidden places to expose and heal all transgressions.
Repentance - We say, "I am sorry." We say it with deep and honest feeling. We breathe it and we think it. We utter it in whispers and we shout it out loud, and we do this without judging ourselves or our emotional process. We simply express from the depth of our truth. We are ready to take 100% responsibility for everything in our lives. Once we realize we caused our own reality, we feel a natural state of remorse. This can be heavy and painful. It can ache and grind on our mind for a while, but it will lead to further inner disclosures. This process brings everything to the surface for examination. We find that everything in our lives has been caused by what is "in here." Not what is "out there." We admit our sorrow and then ask for forgiveness. Who do we ask? We ask ourselves. We are responsible for our problems and we are responsible for our forgiveness.
Forgiveness - We say "Please forgive me!" We ask this earnestly and with great compassion and love for ourselves. We whisper it and shout it. We demand it, and we beg for it. Whatever we feel inside is the way we express these powerful words. Repeat this over and over until the feelings have changed and a sense of clarity emerges. Then we thank all who have participated in this practice with us to also forgive us.
Thank You, Gratitude - It doesn't matter who you thank. When you offer gratitude you are affecting your soul which is connected to the souls of all. Thank yourself for the courage to learn and change. Thank the people who surround you. Thank those who participated in the illness or challenge even if you once believed they caused the problem. Thank them for their willingness to play that role so you could learn and grow. Thanking another is not an empty set of words. They are words that have great power. It is not about being polite or shallowly grateful. This thank you is about pulling gratitude from the depths of all emotions in your heart and revealing them to another -- and to yourself. And when you have offered gratitude for all aspects of your life, then offer love to yourself for all that you are and all you can become. Now you have reached the Zero Limits position.
I love you - Say it often, say it to all who surround you, to your friends, your job, your allies, even your enemies, and remember, there are no enemies anymore. There is only you. And now you can love everything with complete honesty because you have shed all the layers of guilt, pain, remorse, anger, and shame that kept Love withheld or restricted. Say you love yourself and others with a deep sense of compassion and honesty. If you don't feel the love, dig deeper. This expression of love often brings tears to the eyes because it is such a pure emotion.
When you have completed the process, say blessings over food or water. This makes the libations holy and pure. This is much like a priest blessing holy water, and in this case your inner cleansing is a powerful energy that transforms all it influences from the people who witness to the food that is consumed in celebration.
At the end of the process, drink the water, and eat the food. Reclaim the energy your shared and bring it inside to nourish your thoughts and actions as you move forward.
The blessed water used for ceremony can be created using this process:
Using Solar Blue Water with the Ho'oponopono ceremony
The sun is a powerful force and can both cleanse and purify the negative, while allowing new life to continue without the burden of past negativity. This is true for all living organisms. The sun's rays heat and kill harmful bacteria while allowing the good organisms to multiply. How does this affect our body, mind, and spirit? In the most positive way possible. Water makes up over 70% of our bodies. When we drink water that is transformed through the cobalt blue glass and the sun's rays, we are bringing in "new water" to our molecules. They quickly transform other water molecules with their purity. We feel energized, healthy, peaceful.
Solar Blue Water can be used as a cleansing water for crystals, for skin, a healing elixir, and as a positive health drink. The altered molecules in Solar Blue water allow one to "transmute memories" in the subconscious mind so the body can release and heal them.
Condition your water with the power of the sun. Charging your water with light rays will cleanse and heal body, mind, and spirit. SolarBlue water heals and resets the subconsious mind back to zero, a pure state, to create space for a clean start. An added benefit of the SolarBlue water is that it is even tastier than plain water. And it is very easy to make.
Once the water has been purified and fortified by exposure to the sun, decant what is to be used, and sip it as a ceremonial reminder that you have purified your life and you accept yourself with zero limits. In a sense, this is about communion without the overlay of religion. We are declaring our connection to the Spirit of All and we do so by consuming the energy of the sun. Use the sprayer to share this fortified water with your plants and animals. Use the mister to bring the element of the purification into the air around you. Use the Zero Limits Water Blessing Labels to keep the energy alive both in the bottle and on any container you use for this ritual healing practice.

]]>I am so glad you clicked on the link that brought you here. Recently, I have been updating and upgrading my spiritual practice, my life goals, and my business model. Yes, after 15 years of doing my business the same way, I decided it was time for a shift. Not new products, but a new philosophy. In order to clean the slate and adopt a fresh perspective I needed to become new again, myself. This is where my title came from, and the photos are pictures of my water bottles for the past month. Step by step, the intentions I have set have brought me to a new level of understanding of myself, but also of the world around me.
Maybe this process can assist you, no matter where you are on your awakening journey — because we don’t just follow the road and suddenly arrive. We arrive in stages and often have to backtrack to see we might have missed some parts along the way. In doing my Water Blessing Renewal Process I learned vastly more than I knew after 15 years of creating blessings.
SO here we go... I hope you will accept the guidance I was shown by my spirit mentors who pushed me onto the path of renewal.
Stage One - Self Worth - Using I am Awake & Mystic Symbols
After decades of knowing who I thought I was, I learned I am only a fraction of that. Self worth is an edgy topic. We cannot just tell ourselves to love and value all we see in the mirror or what the mirrors around us show us of ourselves. Some things are not especially lovable or worthwhile when viewed through our scrutinizing eyes. So we need to approach the development of self worth and self love in stages. For this stage, I chose my original Heart OM symbol that I personally drew and deeply cherish. That is my heart and it can be yours too, because it speaks from ancient wisdom, cosmic origins, and focuses on the love that develops when we realize we are an infinite container in a small earthly package. All the gifts in the larger container create a vast fabric of reality, and are contained in the open heart surrounding the universal wisdom of OM. If nothing else brings me to a full realization of All that I AM, it is the words I also chose. "I AM Enough" I used that combination for about a week until I really understood the impact of valuing myself on a much higher caliber. Loving myself and the fullness of my own gifts, I found a sense of peace I had been looking for — I didn’t have to reinvent the wheel on self love. I AM Enough, and I AM a drop that contains the ocean. I have value to myself and others. This powerful insight opened me up for the next stage.
Stage Two - Earth Awareness - Healing Energy & Mystic Symbols
With the visceral reminder of my place in universal consciousness, I realized, although I focus a lot of attention on water and water loving, I hadn’t refreshed my personal browser in my mind and heart, and had actually drifted into a more selective path. Seeking a wide place in the road, I delved into earth magic and earth spirits again and learned so much more than I believed I knew before. Using the path of the witch or earth-based Goddess cultures, I began a full month-long attunement to the moon and the cycle of creation as related to light and dark. I rekindled old feelings of the triad or triskele — Mother, Maiden, Crone or Father, Son and Holy Spirit, or Body, Mind and Spirit. However you might recognize the 3 pillars of power in life, with that symbol, I reached deeply in myself and into the earth in order to reboot that wisdom. I also used the power of the four directions and earth elements to bring myself close to the earth again. The Pentacle gave me long arms to surround the earth in a hug, long legs to stand firmly on the planet, and a tall pointy head with which to funnel cosmic wisdom into my earth body. By the way, the pointy witch hat that is frequently associated with witchcraft, is simply the top point of the pentagram, the very sacred funnel that brings us life, wisdom, and connection.
Stage Three - Ancient Wisdom - Sacred Symbols & Peace Within
We benefit greatly by learning our creation stories and accepting the wisdom of our ancestors, our elders, and our cosmic pantheon. The Flower of Life reminds us of our infinite connection to all life and all knowledge. Allowing that flower to bloom within AGAIN, (I had forgotten how magnificent it feels) I was instantly transported to an internal feeling of confidence, support, and connection with everything I see and everything I don’t see. OM, in a different form helped me settle the overwhelming power into my body while the spiral helped me to remember the way we learn (or re-learn). It happens in a spiral. What we know is surrounded by new possibilities, that is again surrounded by more new possibilities, and so forth. In each turn of the wheel, we bring what we knew into another tier while we attune to the new resonance of earthly and universal wisdom. When we learned as a child to listen to our elders, it wasn’t out of obedience. It was so that we might value the old along with the new. The spiral of life always delivers us to a new creation, and where that landed for me was in the Third Chakra. By this time, I realized I was not only on a refresher course in awakening, but also a chakra balancing process. Delighted by this stage, I lingered for a few weeks.
Stage Four - Love & Gratitude - Mystic Symbols & Peace Within
Now I really understood what guidance I had been given. It was linked to, and guided by the chakras. Now I began working with the Chakra Ladder to help elevate me to a new awakening. For this stage, I selected the Earth Love symbol and the word, “Gratitude,” as my symbolic word to encompass love, compassion, and connections. Both the symbol and the word together, brought me to a deeper understanding of the sanctity of life, ALL LIFE, and my role as a receiver of the elements, as they pass through the filter of love and respect. Gratitude for fire, water, earth, and air keeps me alive and balanced and I encounter all aspects through my food and activities. The four directions keep me on-course, as I pass through the north (body issues, the feel of cold, damp, green, rocky); the east (airy, breezy, cerebral, fleeting, cloudy); the south (sweat, fever, hot, intensity, jagged, erratic, warmth); and the west (flowing body, wet, cold, warm, soothing, moving, floating, circulating). As I passed through each element and each direction, my heart expanded to include a renewed gratitude for these amazing physical bodies we use. I felt immense gratitude and love for the earth that supports us, and for the spiritual wisdom that surrounds us at all times, never leaving us, never giving up on us, even when we give up on ourselves. Gratitude continues to expand me every time I think of my journey through that cosmic mountain pass. Feeling all things at once, I felt like I was on the tallest mountain, feeling the freedom of the air that fills my lungs with life, observing the construction that allowed me to stay alive in these times.
Stage Five- Trust & Surrender - Mystic Symbols & Good Vibes
We learn, at a young age, to trust those who have our best interests at heart; and we also learn to surrender our care to them. As we mature, we naturally take over the process for ourselves. Except, sometimes we don’t take over as much as we could. This stage of awakening taught me the value of a voice and the ability to communicate my needs, wishes, and ideas to others. It taught me also, that not everyone can hear us even if we speak loudly or forcefully. But we have the opportunity to learn how to listen to ourselves and do for ourselves what we need to do. We learn to trust ourselves because we can speak. I chose the Hamsa symbol because it represents a vigilance that keeps me protected at all times so I don’t need to carry my fear or wear it on my sleeve. The Hamsa in the Mystic Symbols collection was created to represent protection for water, but I am water. I am, in fact, about 80% water, so it works just fine. Versions of this symbol have been around for thousands of years, and each generation either learns the secrets of protection or not because they are not always apparent. I learned the secret to living a “no fear” life is to tell the truth in all instances. Then there are no secrets to hide or protect. There is nothing out there to ambush me, or derail me. Hence, I have “No Worries!” I spent about a week with this stage and felt an upwelling of personal power when I used my voice for truth, spoke words of peace, love, and encouragement to all I encountered during this process. I saw how my gestures and words made a difference in the lives of others, but also in my life. Trusting myself, I surrender to the universe as my ultimate guide and spiritual master, knowing my gates open and close at my own discretion.
Stage Six - Cause & Effect - Feng Shui Symbols & Buddha Nature
By the time I reached this level of re-awakening, I realized we often create our own messiness in life because we fail to seize opportunities for good fortune, double happiness, or abundance. I used my inner vision to see all the places where my personal sabotage had created unnecessary hardship. While in those dark places I felt I was a victim of “bad karma”, blaming unforeseen circumstances. Now, in this process, I came to realize (but on a much deeper level than the level of affirmations) that we do create exactly what we project. It is a harsh reality to think we might be responsible for the causes and effects in our lives. Sorry to say, cause and effect are intertwined and cannot be unwound. So I spent about 2 weeks on this stage checking my assumptions, my beliefs, my visions, and my difficulties. While I have the ability to create my life as I want it, I might not have been as careful in the past. Knowing what I know now, I can attract happiness and good fortune as easily as I can attract gloom and doom. It is all about how I create my karma. Heaven and hell prevails in our earthly understanding of cause and effect, but that removes us from the possibility of controlling either outcome. We can create heaven on earth when we create opportunities to invite the best into our lives through a collaboration of thoughts, deeds, and beliefs. He create hell the same way. In using my 6th chakra third eye power, I have been able to see how something might play out and I can make a course correction as needed or double up on my power of positive thinking to swing it the other way.
Stage Seven - Inner Peace & Joy - Mystic Symbols, Buddha Nature, Feng Shui
This level of exploration opened my mind to the knowledge of the universe, the balance of life, and the peace we can all invite into our realms. I had always used the Yin Yang as a prevailing “token” spiritual symbol, but it is so much deeper than a quick graphic recognition can provide. When we understand the wisdom behind balance, we quickly see how allowing some dark into the light, and some light into the dark brings ease and comfort in all circumstances. This stage came for me at a time of political upheaval when I was most effected by the apparent injustices all around us. But then I found that little dot of light, and it illuminated my soul to the place where I could understand the dark in a way I had not been able to allow before. The same occurred when I felt too righteous and then realized there is also that dot of darkness in my light. I own it and it brings me down a notch so I can assess life from a perspective of compassion. We all have dark and light, light and dark. And we all share the very same reality. The only thing we don’t share is our unique perspective. So you see life one way, and I see it differently. In allowing for differences, I actually glimpsed at the sameness in all of us. We all want love, life, wellness, support and connection. We just approach it in different ways. Breathing peace, I sense a new awakening with wider views, greater compassion, and a higher sense of gratitude.
