Shipping policy

Orders are shipped within 3 business days using US Postal First Class Mail. Free flat mail uses postage stamps and is not traceable. Packages in padded envelopes or boxes use USPS First Class Package rates and a tracking number is sent when the package is processed for shipping.

Allow up to 10 business days for mail to reach your address. If you believe your package has been lost in the mail, contact The Spirit of Water to discuss options. The Spirit of Water depends upon tracking information provided by the US Postal Service. If their tracking number indicates the package was delivered, but you cannot find it, please contact your local carrier or Post Office to trace the package through them before asking for a refund or replacement. The Spirit of Water is not responsible for stolen mail. If you suspect your package was stolen from your mailbox or porch, contact local law enforcement to file a claim. 

Wrong address information can delay delivery of packages. Your address information is your responsibility and we use exactly what you enter on your order. If you make a mistake and the package goes to the wrong address, we are not responsible for retrieval or replacement. If the original package is returned to us in good condition, we can refund your original payment or replace the order entirely. We reserve the right to make our own determination as to whether the returned product is in good condition and can be returned to our inventory. In all cases, we are open to discussion and negotiation.

Sometimes our system enters an incorrect shipping cost. If your shipping cost seems uncharacteristically high, please contact us and we can possibly negotiate a partial shipping refund. Often we catch the errors immediately and will issue the refund automatically.
