Reveal your shadows and sins on the dissolving paper. Then plunge it into water to allow your sins and shadows to be dissolved and purified by the water. Use this special paper to also write your secrets, intentions, shadow feelings, forgiveness sentiments, or communication with ancestors or loved ones. The sheets of paper are small so they can dissolve in small containers. Crumple the sheet and place in a container. Or cut into smaller pieces to create more release rituals.
Follow this process:
- Write your message as you connect with your deep feelings. Use a pen or a pencil. This paper is specifically designed to dissolve quickly in water.
- Prepare a container of water and place it on your altar. It adds to the ceremonial process if you use a sacred bowl or chalice. Fill it with clean, clear water.
- Cast your wish, your intention, or your feelings by saying them aloud before you place it in the water. Swish the water around gently to help the paper break down faster. You can use the glass rod we offer or a wand, spoon, or cocktail stir stick. Don't use your finger, if so, the very items you wish to release will remain within your energy field.
- Observe the message break down in the water. Watch as the words disappear into the water, leaving a slightly milky liquid behind.
- Pour the liquid onto the bare earth and give thanks for the water that carries your message to its destination.
- You can reserve some of the water into a small containers and take them to favored destinations for release, much like people do when they scatter the ashes of their loved ones.
