Unlocking the Mystical Power of Sacred Geometry
“Mathematics is the alphabet
with which God has written the universe.”
Galileo
If you contemplate these sacred symbols in our Water Blessing Collection shown below, you will understand that they are the shapes and patterns that form the matrix of life in the universe. Anyone of these can be seen as a language of numbers (mathematics) that apply to, and govern our entire visible and invisible world. What are the spiritual meanings behind these geometric patterns and symbols?
No matter what creative urge might want to be expressed, artists, musicians, and philosophers have long evoked the power of sacred geometry in their work from DaVinci to Pythagoras. Ancient cultures used geometric shapes in representing their lifestyle through clothing, tools, cave art, and embellishments. It’s also probably that Mozart employed the Golden Ration for his musical compositions, something like using the circle of fifths. The sacred spiral “Fibonacci sequence, for instance, is alive in everything from a flower to a simple pinecone, to a snail shell, to the human body, to the Great Pyramids at Giza. Plato’s solids (platonic shapes) are said to form the basis for every design in the universe, even down to a molecule.
Sacred shapes also represent the ineffable, mystical elements of life. Why else are we so drawn to them? Does sacred geometry correlate to something deeper within our universal consciousness? Does it reflect or speak to the language of our soul? Does the knowledge go deeper, or are our grains simply limited to recognizing these patterns in nature? For many, a symbol allows our minds to glimpse at infinity. And if we do, we will find ourselves among the stars.
Whatever the reason behind the prevalence of these patterns presented here, one thing is certain. Symbols have power. They are used as shorthand for understanding. The brain is able to assimilate vastly more information from a symbol than a verbal or written explanation can provide, because a symbol is not only seen, but it is felt; and if we test our senses, we might find the symbol we are drawn to stimulates our hearing, tasting, smelling, and touch beyond emotions.
Without naming, or giving a meaning to each pattern, we present our selection of geometrical symbols for help link your body and spirit with the sacred language of the universe. Within this collection you will find the synchronicity of creation as you feel into each pattern and allow it to find its home in your consciousness.
